I chose the Monarch Butterfly Migration as my event for this six week workshop series: Expressive Type Design.

Why?

In my experience teaching Early Childhood, Monarch Migration is an event that I teach about each Spring. I’ve created numerous art projects and integrated lessons for my students around this brilliant event. It is something I continue to be fascinated by and only learned about it because I am an educator. This is a chance to engage with it in my own creative process. An opportunity to be the student.
